or i would say in a more polite way,
five decades have passed swiftly...
Well,
through the glorious years,

firstly,
you have made yourself very famous worldwide.
Everybody get to know you better when you finally
built a historical landmark on your body.
Guess what's the name of the building?
It's Twin Tower.
Secondly,
you have invented local cars yourself.
Thirdly,
you have got rid of Singapore.
which the decision was right because
Singapore is already a developed country
but you are still on going with a name .
entitled 'a developing country'.
I am proud of you because you have
at least given a chance to Singapore to prove to you
that she still can live without your guidance.
Fourthly,
you are under control because
you have Internal Security Act living beneath you.
She protects you from danger
and you are harmless and safe
in her arm.
And Lastly,
you have BN to guide you
through the years of independence.
She taught you to be ready for all the
bumpy roads that lay ahead but
never taught you how to deal with
bribe takers.
She has guided you for the past 50 years
and i think now it's the time you need to
stand up on your own feet and
start a brand new life.
